Bad Restaraunt

ON my memeorial day weekend I ate at two restaruants. one was phenomenal and is discussed in a previous post. The second was horrible and I will hopefully never go back.

The Old Frontier Steakhouse in Fillmore, UT was awful.

The layout of the dining room is horrible. The door is situated such that the staff can’t see when new customers come in. The decor is mediocre, but it all has price tags on it and is for sale. The food was mediocre at best. My steak was cooked well, but was full of gristle. My corn came out of a can and wasn’t even drained properly. There was a big bug crawling around in the bathroom, which you have to walk through a gift shop to get to. the service was slower than the molasses in January. It even took forever to get the someone to take our money.

I have recently taken to watching Kitchen Nightmares and now I feel like I need to go look at the kitchen of any place I eat now. I suspect the kitchen here would have scared me.
